Meeting with a SVO participant: lessons of courage

JSC Teplohim has been collecting humanitarian supplies for SVO participants for a very long time, closely interacting with city volunteer associations, producing dry army showers, camouflage nets and ponchos, we feel and are imbued with faith in our guys there, behind the ribbon, we worry about them and We sincerely want to help.

Therefore, April 24 became a special day for the plant’s employees. At the beginning of this month, we met Dasha Belyaeva, the founder of the volunteer association “Aid Army Z,” and gave her funds to purchase the equipment necessary for the children. And today, with words of gratitude, the fighter for whom the drone was purchased with this money arrived to us along with Dasha herself, and by a happy coincidence he had just arrived on vacation.

He simply introduced himself to the company workers gathered in the assembly hall as Mikhail. He talked a little about himself, about his service, about his life. He said little, because due to his military duty he cannot voice everything, and we ourselves are not ready to hear everything. Mikhail spoke especially warmly about receiving humanitarian supplies, about how important it is to receive this news from home or simply from caring people, because this means that people remember our soldiers, believe in them and are really looking forward to them.

The entire time he spoke, Mikhail was smiling, and his eyes showed youthful excitement, already tightly intertwined with the perseverance and courage that had settled in them forever. And the listeners sat without moving, without making a sound, catching every word, and the air was permeated with respect and some kind of aching sadness that here he was so young, a boy, but a warrior, one of our defenders, whom we were so proud of, but behind which are so scary.

This meeting left no one indifferent; it made each of the listeners think and, probably, inspired. She also inspired me to be more courageous, better and try to do more for our guys.
