School of Trainers “Apply. Teach. Improve”

The 7th annual school of trainers “Apply. Train. Improve” has finished its work in Moscow – a practical conference for trainers of lean manufacturing enterprises, trainers of Regional Competence Centers, instructors in lean manufacturing and those responsible for training at enterprises participating in the National Project “Labor Productivity”.

And this year, the training participants included the Commercial Director of JSC “Teplokhim” Konstantin Leonidovich Nedorezov, who is an internal trainer of the enterprise.

All three days of the course were held in an intensive format and included both theoretical and practical classes and master classes. Participants studied the key principles of lean manufacturing, as well as modern methods and tools that help identify and eliminate losses at all levels of production.

Special attention during the training was paid to the development of coaching skills, where participants learned not only how to apply lean manufacturing principles, but also how to effectively transfer this knowledge to colleagues. Internal trainers learned about active learning methods, group work, conducting seminars, and, most importantly, how to create a motivational atmosphere during classes, involving participants in the process, which is a key factor for the successful implementation of new ideas, practices, and principles in the enterprise’s production processes.

An important part of the training, of course, was the practical classes, where participants had the opportunity to test their strengths in applying the acquired knowledge in practice in conditions close to real ones, which allowed them not only to practice new skills, but also to receive feedback from experienced mentors and colleagues. And the discussion of real cases and analysis of successful examples of lean manufacturing implementation in other companies helped to deepen the understanding of how these approaches and methods can be applied to the specifics of their enterprise.

The implementation of lean manufacturing principles requires time and effort, but all this justifies itself, becoming an important step towards creating an efficient and competitive production.
