Seeing is believing: a tour of production for BTPIT students

Today, a group of students from the Borisoglebsk College of Industrial and Information Technologies, studying in the specialty “Mechanical Engineering Technology”, arrived at our plant to see the production environment with their own eyes, learn more about their future profession and understand what tasks they will face in it.

The tour began with a welcoming speech from Commercial Director Konstantin Leonidovich Nedorezov and the head of the HR department of the enterprise Natalia Ivanovna Ryumina. Here the students were told about the history of the plant, its achievements and the importance of the industry as a whole.

And then the group went to the production site, where the guys visited the workshops and were able to see all the stages of equipment production: from the chief designer’s department to the assembly site. And each stage of the production process was explained in detail, which allowed the students to see how the theoretical knowledge obtained in educational institutions is applied in practice. Particular attention in this tour was paid to the work of specialists of different professions, and the students had the opportunity to ask questions of interest to them and get answers from experienced masters of their craft. Engineers and technologists willingly talked about the difficulties and subtleties of their work and especially emphasized the importance of continuous learning and adaptation to new conditions, which became an excellent motivation for future professionals.

The students were impressed by the scale of production, technologies and equipment used at the plant.

And after the tour, the children were treated to pizza and juices, where at a large table there was an additional opportunity to chat and share their impressions.

Holding such events is of great importance for students. They not only provide an opportunity to get an idea of the real working environment, but also help young people realize that mechanical engineering is not just a job, but an entire culture that requires a creative approach and extensive technical knowledge.
