A green clean-up day in the middle of a grey autumn day

In the lead-up to National Unity Day, our city held a large-scale cleanup day, during which participants diligently worked to improve the Memory and Glory Memorial Complex. It’s worth noting that the day’s volunteers, led by the head of the district administration, Alexander Anatolyevich Leonov, included executives of major companies, city council members, public figures, and active youth. All of them exchanged their business suits for casual wear and work gloves to contribute to preserving the historical memory and greening their beloved city.

During the cleanup day, dozens of young trees and shrubs were planted on the complex grounds, which will eventually become a veritable avenue of fame.

“Today we’ve accomplished something important not only for ourselves but also for future generations,” said Konstantin Leonidovich Nedorezov, Commercial Director of Teplokhim JSC, who participated in the cleanup day on behalf of the company. “These trees will symbolize our gratitude to our ancestors and our concern for the city’s ecology.” And such actions unite us and demonstrate our unity in the best possible way.
