Coming Home: Teplokhim Welcomes Its Veterans
Back in 2006, when JSC Teplokhim was just starting out, its team consisted of only five employees—a small circle of like-minded individuals driven by ambition, enthusiasm, courage, and persistence as they navigated the challenging path toward their goal. Every day brought new challenges and hardships, yet these five overcame them steadfastly, step by step. Now, the plant is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Looking back, one can confidently say that those five pioneering spirits succeeded in everything they set out to do.
To mark this milestone, we did something we had long considered but never quite found the right occasion or time for: we invited our distinguished retirees to the celebratory event honoring Machine Builder’s Day and the plant’s anniversary. We invited them not merely as guests, but—more fittingly—to come back home. These were the people who stood at the very beginning, who witnessed the workshops rise, and who poured their energy, knowledge, and heart into building the company. They are the reason Teplokhim exists today.
And they came, crossing the threshold of their beloved plant for the first time in years.
They were the guests of honor at this grand celebration, welcomed with applause, hugs, and tears of joy. The concert, the speeches, the letters of appreciation from management, the gifts, and the warmth of the reunion itself moved them deeply. Yet, the most poignant moment was the chance to walk through familiar spaces, reunite with former colleagues, and reminisce about their shared workdays—recalling humorous incidents, challenging projects, and the people who are no longer with us.
At the same time, those familiar places seemed new to them: there were new areas, new equipment, and new technologies. Everything that had once begun with their own hands had grown and flourished. In their eyes, one could see a quiet joy—pride in having played a part in the plant’s success and the feeling that all their efforts had truly mattered.
For them, this day was more than just a tour; it was a homecoming. A return to a place where they are remembered, valued, and sincerely thanked.
For the younger employees, the meeting served as a living lesson—a lesson showing that behind every one of the plant’s current successes stand real people: their hands, their hearts, and their dedication to the work. It demonstrated that the bond between generations is not merely a nice phrase, but the very foundation of Teplokhim—the element that transforms it from a simple enterprise into a genuine, close-knit family.
Thank you, our dear veterans. Thank you for your hard work, your patience, and for the fact that you have been—and remain—an integral part of our history.
We remember you. We are proud of you. And we love you.
