Building the future together: the BTPIT Report meeting

On August 28, the Borisoglebsky College of Industrial and Information Technologies hosted a reporting meeting, which this year was held in a new format, bringing together not only students, administration and teaching staff of the educational institution, but also representatives of industrial enterprises participating in the ongoing network project “Professional Elite: the engineering industry” for an open dialogue. JSC Teplochim was represented at the event by Mikhail Evgenievich Kokotko, Deputy Technical Director, Candidate of Technical Sciences.

Marina Albertovna Serdyuk, Director of BTPIT, opened the meeting, proudly summing up the results of this year’s admission process. Marina Albertovna emphasized the high average scores of students’ certificates during enrollment, which indicates that these are confident and motivated guys who consciously chose their career path. And now the common task of the educational institution, together with partner enterprises, is to provide these young people not just with a diploma, but with a real profession.

During the meeting, an emphasis was placed on practice-oriented training of students, where it is fundamentally important that they come to enterprises not just to “look”, but immerse themselves in production algorithms, become part of a team, understand internal processes and by the time they receive their diploma they are ready to work independently. In addition, industrial practice will be a great chance for students to prove themselves, and for employers to find the most inquisitive minds and golden hands.

The most lively and dynamic part of the event was an open discussion, during which the students, abandoning their timidity, literally bombarded representatives of enterprises with questions of interest to them. At the same time, the questions were not formal or abstract, but really exciting for young people. They dealt with work schedules, mentoring programs, production technologies, and career development. And the representatives of the factories gave detailed and honest answers to each of them, without embellishing reality, but with a sincere desire to motivate the youth.

This meeting clearly showed that modern education and production are not separate systems, but a single organism. And close cooperation between the college and partner enterprises is a guarantee that graduates will be in demand in the labor market, and factories will receive specialists ready to work.

And we congratulate BTPIT on the successful start of the academic year and thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this important dialogue in order to build a future together in which there is a place for talent, diligence and great opportunities!
