Thank you for the Victory!

On the eve of the most important and sacred holiday—Victory Day—this kind tradition takes on special meaning. Expressing gratitude to those who gave us peace shouldn’t be done with grandiose phrases, but with personal attention, warmth, and care. This is precisely what Konstantin Leonidovich Nedorezov, Commercial Director of Teplokhim JSC and City Duma Deputy, did when he visited our city’s veterans on the eve of the great day.

For everyone who lived through the crucible of war, May 9th is more than just a date; it’s a lifetime, a memory of battles, losses, comrades who never returned, and the great joy of the long-awaited Victory. Therefore, it’s so important in these pre-holiday days to visit those who are living history today and tell them what matters most: “We remember. We are proud. We love you.”

Flower bouquets and gift sets, but the most important thing is genuine human warmth, attention, and respect. Door after door opened, and in every home, gatherings were held with a special trepidation. Eyes that remembered the war today shone with gratitude and tears—these tears were bright. After all, for these people, it wasn’t just about receiving a gift, but about understanding that their heroism hasn’t been forgotten, their years of service and labor are valued, and new generations remember the price paid for this peaceful sky.

In the warm, homely atmosphere, memories echoed—of fighting, of waiting for letters from the front, of rejoicing on May 9th of that cherished year, 1945.

“Every time I look into the eyes of these amazing people, I realize that no words can express the depth of our gratitude,” Konstantin Leonidovich shared. “Their heroism is our conscience. Their lives are our example. Doing even a little for them, saying thank you in person, is the least we can do.”

On the eve of May 9, we once again bow our heads before the heroism of our ancestors. Those who fought at the front, those who forged Victory in the rear—at their machine tools, in the fields, in hospitals. Those who later raised the country from ruins.

We bow deeply to you, our dear veterans. Eternal memory to the fallen. And eternal gratitude to all who gave us life, freedom, and the right to a future. We remember. We are proud.
