Boxing competition for the “Khabarovsk Mayor's Cup”

From December 2 to December 8, 2024, the city of Khabarovsk hosted the boxing competition “Khabarovsk Mayor’s Cup” among young men aged 15-16 and juniors aged 17-18. 194 athletes from 24 regions of the country took part in these prestigious competitions.

The hall was full of people wanting to watch the masterful work of the fighters, and the boys had something to please the fans of this sport.

Immediately after the end of the fights, the winners were awarded well-deserved cups and medals right in the ring. And among the winners was a student of the boxing and kickboxing sports club “RATIBOR” – Sergey Nikolaenko, who is currently studying at the Olympic Reserve School of the city of Volgograd. Sergey won the title of Master of Sports and became the best boxer of the tournament!

“The spectators saw great fights. The winners received the title of Master of Sports – in total, 12 boxers were awarded the title. It was obvious that the athletes and coaches had done a great job and were seriously preparing for the tournament. I was glad to see guys from different regions of Russia at the competition. For the first time, boxers from the Donetsk People’s Republic and Zaporozhye came to us. They showed a decent level of training and took home a solid set of medals. We are waiting for them to participate in other competitions in Khabarovsk. It is very nice that so many spectators visited the tournament. This shows that boxing and a healthy lifestyle are popular in the regional center,” said Khabarovsk Mayor Sergei Kravchuk.

For several years now, Teplokhim JSC has been providing financial support to the Ratibor Boxing and Kickboxing Sports Club ANO to form the club’s planned and competition budget as part of its support and development of physical culture and sports in the Borisoglebsk Urban District. This cooperation will continue in the coming 2025 – the parties have signed another agreement on cooperation and support.

We are sure that the club’s coaches and trainees have many more achievements and accomplishments ahead. We wish you to conquer new heights! Let every day be filled with willpower, perseverance, training and, of course, victories.
