Our flag is more than a national symbol. This is the embodiment of our national idea, our unity and loyalty to the precepts of our ancestors. It stands for the honor and nobility, loyalty and constancy, courage and generosity shown by our people at all turning points in history.
The tricolor banner, proudly flying over the expanses of our vast Homeland, contains the power, sovereignty and continuous connection of time.:
- White is a symbol of peace, spirituality, striving for justice and truth.
- Blue is the color of fidelity, the heavenly expanses and the water surfaces that protect our earth.
- Red is the very strength and blood shed for the Fatherland, the courage shown by the defenders of our Motherland at all times.
And today, looking at the waving flag, we feel legitimate pride in our country, for its rich cultural and historical heritage, for scientific and industrial achievements.
