Central Federal District Boxing Championship

From March 17 to 23, the city of Kostroma hosted the Championship of the Central Federal District of Russia among juniors aged 17-18, dedicated to the memory of Vadim Ivanovich Sofronov and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Artem Popov represented the Ratibor boxing and kickboxing sports club at the competition. During the preliminary fights, the club’s pupil met an opponent from the Kostroma region in the ring. However, after two rounds of the fight, the advantage was on the opponent’s side.

But every experience teaches something important, helps to draw conclusions, hone skills and only fuels the passion for new victories. We wish Artem to never lose faith in himself, because it is from small steps that a large staircase to the winner’s podium is built!
