Pilgrimage to the relics of Matrona of Moscow
In the modern world, filled with vanity and rapid changes, each of us needs moments of silence and peace of mind. And in this race of life, it is important not to forget about spiritual values, which at all times are a support for a person.
Thus, for the employees of the plant and their families, AO Teplokhim organized a pilgrimage to the Pokrovsky Monastery, where the relics of Saint Matrona of Moscow are carefully preserved.
Even during her lifetime, Matrona said that everyone should come to her grave and tell her about their troubles. “I will hear,” she promised. That is why people come to her in an endless stream with their sorrows and griefs. There is not a day when the monastery grounds are empty: long lines of people who have come from all over the country and the world line up at the relics of the saint to pray and ask for help.
A comfortable bus took our employees straight to the monastery. Despite the early hour, many pilgrims had already gathered at the relics, each with their own thoughts, requests, gratitude and, invariably, flowers.
The majestic vaults of the monastery greeted the guests with reverent silence and an amazing aura of peace. Everyone was able to approach the relics of Saint Matrona. This moment was filled with special feelings: someone was quietly praying, someone was thanking for help in difficult times, and someone was asking the saint for intercession. And in every look one could read hope and faith in the best.
After visiting the monastery, the bus took the believers to the largest Orthodox church in Russia – the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, where they were also able to light candles and offer prayers.
This trip became a real source of inspiration, each participant returned home with a feeling of inner renewal, with lightness in their souls and faith that even in the most difficult times and moments of life we are not alone, that there is support that comes from above.
And may the warmth of this trip warm us for a long time, reminding us that life is not only work and everyday life, but also moments when we can touch something more.
