We do the same thing

In these difficult times, we see how people of all ages, professions, views and living standards find each other and unite, like links in a single strong chain, for one common goal – to support our soldiers. Entrepreneurs and ordinary citizens, children and adults provide this support as much as they can: they raise funds, provide transport, weave nets, bake pies, everyone does it in different ways, but no one is left out. And this unity makes us stronger.

Yesterday, in the Telegram channel of the volunteer association “Army of Assistance Z”, its founder Daria Belyaeva posted a video from the SVO participants, in which they sincerely express gratitude for the humanitarian aid received from caring Borisoglebsk residents. Teplokhim residents also received their thanks for the radios they handed over to the servicemen.

In this gratitude, the children list by name all those involved, not forgetting anyone, and in their hands are bright cards from fourth-graders who, as best they could, brightly and sincerely conveyed words of support to the soldiers, their admiration for their courage. And even if, and perhaps even, it is good that the children probably do not fully understand the seriousness of what is happening, but their very desire to send the soldiers the warmth of their little hearts across many kilometers says a lot and is worth immeasurably dear. Courage and fortitude to our soldiers! Each of them is not a faceless soldier, he is a son, father, husband and brother. And in this difficult time, we must remember that our support for them in deed or even word at some point can be priceless. Equipment, medicines, letters, a pie from a neighbor’s grandmother, which had become stale during the journey, but had not lost its warmth – this is not just a gesture of kindness, it is a symbol of gratitude to our guardians of peace, respect for their daily feat, a prayer in the dark, it is a crystal bridge thrown from home to fill the hearts of the soldiers with warmth and remind them what this battle is for.
