Academy of Industry: capacity development and strengthening of cooperation
On July 22, 2025, Borisoglebsk hosted a large–scale event, the Academy of Industry, which brought together business leaders, government officials and the public to discuss key issues of the region’s industrial sector development.
The main objectives of the event were the development of the industrial potential of the Voronezh Region, strengthening cooperation between business, government and society, as well as the exchange of experience and the search for new solutions to improve production efficiency.
The work of the Academy, mediated by the Minister of Industry and Transport of the region Sergey Olegovich Khlyzov, was attended by experts and representatives of executive authorities, representatives of the administrations of Borisoglebsk, Gribanovsky, Povorinsky, Ternovsky, Novokhopersky and Anninsky districts, as well as heads of leading enterprises in the region, including representatives of the administration of JSC Teplochim.”.
Within the framework of the business program, such topical topics as support for industrial enterprises, personnel training, implementation of the national project “Labor Productivity”, responsible business conduct and ECG rating were discussed. The participants had the opportunity to ask the invited experts their questions, and the meeting was summed up by an open dialogue-discussion with the Minister of Industry and Transport of the region.
One of the highlights for the participants and guests of the Academy of Industry was the opportunity to see with their own eyes the everyday life and achievements of modern industry by personally visiting several enterprises in Borisoglebsk.
On this day, JSC Teplochim became one of the hospitable hosts welcoming distinguished guests. During the sightseeing tour, the delegation, led by the Minister of Industry and Transport of the region, Sergey Olegovich Khlyzov, told about the history of the plant, production achievements and plans, and introduced them to corporate traditions that are carefully preserved and multiplied here. The guests were able to see modern production lines and samples of equipment manufactured by the enterprise, a site for weaving camouflage nets and a sports hall in which the minister could not resist fighting in a friendly table tennis match with one of the factory’s employees.
The issue of social responsibility, which has always been given special attention at JSC Teplochim, was also touched upon separately. In January of this year, the company was officially recognized as a responsible organization of the Voronezh Region with the current ECG rating index of 110 points, becoming one of the leaders of the rating.
Summing up, it is safe to say that the Academy of Industry has become an important platform for dialogue between business and government. The participants noted the practical benefits of the event, and a visit to the city’s factories made it possible to clearly demonstrate the high industrial potential of Borisoglebsk.
