600 steps to Victory
Our plant’s vast grounds boast two modest areas free from the roar of machinery and the fiery blaze of welding. But when you come here, you sense a quiet magic, the sound of which is the lulling rustle of rags, and the rhythm of which is the measured movement of hands tying knot after knot. This is the true magic of faith, care, and love for each of the sons of the Motherland, who are now defending its borders. This magic weaves the strongest armor—camouflage nets for our heroes.
And yesterday, the dedicated forewomen of these areas completed the jubilee six-hundredth net! This figure, which may seem like a dry statistic, is in fact a living story, spanning hundreds of hours of painstaking labor, when plant employees, instead of taking a break during their shift, come here to weave hope with their own hands.
What are 600 camouflage nets?
- It’s 600 times we told the soldier, “Take care! We’re waiting for you!”
- These are thousands of meters of ribbon, threaded through fingers like the threads of fate.
- These are millions of knots, each a silent prayer, a drop of hope, a particle of faith, woven into the overall fabric of Victory.
The warm hands of all our craftsmen and women create a special energy in this work. Not scraps and ribbons, but rather they weave their fatigue into a common web, transforming it into vigilance, their anxiety, refining it into armor, their endless faith, which becomes a fortress.
And when our soldiers, there, behind the ribbon, throw these nets over their positions and equipment, they are not simply sheltered by camouflage; they are sheltered by our love, a enchanted cloak of invisibility woven for them by their mothers, wives, sisters, and daughters. And they feel the invisible presence of those in the distant rear who think of them, believe in them, and fight for them just like that—quietly and patiently.
