Good deeds are the key to finding the true, highest meaning in life

The White Flower charity event is a revived tradition of more than a century ago: at the beginning of the 20th century, the event, held under the patronage of the Royal Family, was aimed at combating the “plague of the century” – tuberculosis. Since 2012, with the blessing of the Ruling Bishop of the Voronezh Diocese, Metropolitan Sergius, the White Flower charity event has been revived in the Voronezh land. Now funds are collected for the treatment of children suffering from cancer and rare diseases.

This charity event is held annually in the Voronezh, Borisoglebsk and Rossoshan dioceses of the Voronezh Metropolitanate. On November 17, parents of sick children to whom assistance is addressed were invited to the assembly hall of the Annunciation Cathedral to receive certificates for treatment and rehabilitation, as well as active participants of the event – to present letters of gratitude for the assistance provided and the mercy shown.

Today, such a letter of gratitude was carefully handed over by the rector of the Church of the Holy Blessed Princes Boris and Gleb, Father Alexander, to JSC Teplokhim and all its employees for their mercy and compassion for the pain of others, for their participation in the lives of unfamiliar but dear to the heart children and teenagers.

There are so many things in our world that we take for granted: health, comfort, the opportunity to dream. But for many children, these simple joys are inaccessible because they are forced to live and fight their illness every day. That is why participation in charity events to raise funds to help sick children is an opportunity for each person to give someone hope and faith in the best. The funds raised can become the key to the necessary medical procedures, medicines, or even just the little joys that children need so much to feel better.

Just imagine the smile of a child who has received a chance to recover thanks to your help. After all, the funds collected here are not just dry numbers and reports – they are real lives, full of hopes and dreams.
