Celebrations in honor of the 327th anniversary of Borisoglebsk
On May 15, our beloved city of Borisoglebsk celebrated its 327th birthday! And this holiday unites all the citizens, because each of us contributes to its development and prosperity. Our city is a real living heart. Here, every corner is filled with memories and hopes: noisy streets, cozy parks where we spend time with loved ones, historical buildings that preserve the spirit of the past, and modern spaces that inspire new ideas and achievements.
And on this day, we remember the history of our glorious city, its achievements and those people who made it what we see it today.
The opening of the City Day was traditionally held on Starosobornaya Square, where creative groups performed at the main symbol of the city – the Church of Saints Boris and Gleb, and the top officials of Borisoglebsk congratulated the residents on the holiday.
And in the afternoon, a ceremonial event dedicated to the holiday was held in the Zvezdny Central House of Culture, gathering under one roof many people – public figures, entrepreneurs, activists and ordinary citizens united by love for our small Motherland.
Representatives of the Borisoglebsk Urban District Administration addressed the audience with a welcoming speech, expressing gratitude to the local community for their joint work and high achievements.
Of course, the key moment of the holiday was the awarding of the city’s enterprise teams and individual employees for their significant contribution to the economic development of Borisoglebsk, job creation, support of social initiatives, infrastructure development and professional achievements.
Representatives of both large companies and small businesses took to the stage. It is proud and joyful that the name of Teplokhim was among those awarded.
Thus, during the summing up of the results of the “Best Taxpayer” competition, our plant, as for several years in a row, was awarded 1st place in the nomination “Industrial Enterprises” based on the results of work for 2024!
But not only the industrial and economic achievements of JSC Teplokhim were noted at this ceremony: in the nomination “Patronage”, the enterprise was awarded an honorary diploma of the BGO Administration for its great contribution to the development of the district and active charitable activities, and an honorary diploma was also awarded as the winner of the regional competition “Best Industrial Enterprise of the Voronezh Region” in 2024.
In addition, for success in the work of the mechanical engineering industry, the Voronezh Region Government awarded the Certificate of Honor to the welding shop foreman of the chamber assembly section of JSC Teplokhim, Evgeny Nikolaevich Vlasov, and the electric welder on automatic and semi-automatic machines, Andrey Aleksandrovich Grudinin, was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the BGO Administration for winning the regional competition of professional skills “Golden Hands”.
And today we have once again confidently confirmed that we have something and someone to be proud of!
And throughout the celebration, the audience was delighted by the concert program of local creative groups. Talented artists took turns on the stage: dance groups, musical ensembles and soloists, performing both modern hits and folk songs. And each number reflected the spirit of the city, its cultural heritage and love for their native land. The audience actively supported the performers with applause.
City Day is not only a reason to remember what we have achieved, but also an opportunity to look into the future. Let new horizons and achievements await us. Let us dream together about how we want to see our city in years to come and work so that these plans will definitely come true. Let Borisoglebsk be a place where mutual assistance and respect reign, where children’s laughter sounds in the streets, where tall trees rustle in the wind, having already become history themselves, and we proudly pronounce the name of our city.
