Voronezh Region Boxing Championship
From December 10 to 14, Novovoronezh hosted the Voronezh Region Boxing Championship and Championship “In Memory of State Security Officers Who Died While Performing Their Military Duty, for the Prizes of the Novovoronezh Nuclear Power Plant.”
Over the course of three days, 270 children from 11 districts of the region competed for prizes. The team of the Ratibor Boxing Club, Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 33, was represented by 5 athletes, who showed a worthy result:
Artem Popov, 1st place
Nikita Zaitsev, 1st place
Volodchenko Dmitry, 3rd place.
The Ratibor Sports Club expressed gratitude to Teplokhim JSC for the financial support provided to organize participation in the competition.
The judges of the championship noted that every year the level of training of boxers is growing, their technique is getting better, and the fighters are honing their skills.
The winners of the tournament will be able to compete for a place in the Voronezh Region team, which will represent the region at the Russian Boxing Championship in 2025.
